Another year of wonderful fun and companionship with Utz. I can't believe that he is almost 5. Not a day goes by without us thinking what a priviledge it is for us to have such a beautiful dog in our family, he has surpassed all of our expectations.
Eva,our first GSD, now 11, was bred in a very different environment from Utz. As gentle and loving as she is we have never been able to overcome the problems we inherited with her because she had not been fortunate to have a breeder like YOU! We were determined to find a breeder like you when we searched for our second puppy and we knew as soon as you opened your front door that we had found her!
Utz can charm even those professing to not like dogs and this summer he enabled someone we spent time with in France to be confident and trusting of a GSD, a breed she had spent all of her life in fear of! She is now 65 and told me that if she had known a dog like Utz when she was young she would have been a GSD owner herself. There is no better compliment than that and I send it to you with my thanks and love.

We have had an eventful time since having Kira, Philippa more than proved if proof was needed that she is a very responsible breeder who cares deeply for the wellbeing of her puppies.
Kira has been growing at such a fast rate that she has literally been having growing pains, thankfully we now know she will be fine.
Philippa kept in regular contact, giving advise and support while we waited for the vet to give us this diagnosis. Arranging to not only see Kira prior to her vet appointment but also coming along with us to see the xrays and reassure herself that all was well with Kira.
Kira is a really delightful puppy who house trained herself, she's sociable and full of confidence when meeting other dogs,children and adults.On her first outing to a Highland Gathering she attracted so much attention, people coming up wanting to pet her and complementing me on having such a lovely dog, I felt a really proud mum. She is very confident going into busy markets where there is a lot of traffic and crowds, she sits and waits by my side outside shops happy to watch what's going on.
She settled into our home,one of the family living happily with three generations including my ten year old grandson.
We wouldn't hesitate to reccomend Philippa to anyone looking for a GSD puppy, she sends detailed information about everything from diet to toilet training, and is always at the end of the phone if advise is needed. Not only have we got a lovely dog but made a good friend too.

Last year on the 23rd of June 2009 I had the joy of picking up my little girl Cleo (Athena) from Philippa (Molly & Axel puppy). She was the smallest of the litter and I knew that Philippa had put a lot of time and effort in getting Cleo up to the right weight which included bottle feeding her as well as Molly feeding her.
Cleo is now 15 months and is looking better than ever, I have had a lot of support from Philippa throughout this time, including helping me at shows and showing me the ropes.
I can’t thank Philippa enough for the wonderful puppy I took home that day, and the wonderful and healthy dog she has become.
