I have been looking for a reputable breeder since Christmas 2009. After
scouring the internet for days, contacting different breeders by phone
and email, the one that caught my eye was Flyhart. The website gave
comprehensive information about the breeders, the dogs and progeny with
lots of pictures of the dogs and previous litters. I contacted
Philippa (the breeder) in January 2010 and arranged a visit a few weeks
later. Philippa was so welcoming and answered all the questions we
threw at her. Both myself and my partner came away feeling excited
about the prospect of having a puppy from Flyhart.
Philippa kept us informed (as promised) all the way through Molly's
pregnancy and birth and sent pictures of the newborn pups to us. When
we travelled down from our home in Wales to pick out our puppy,
Philippa made us feel very welcome again. The pups were beautiful and
so well cared for by their mother Molly and by Philippa.
When it was time to collect our puppy, we once again drove the three
hour journey. Philippa talked us through all the paperwork and
documents that needed signing. She explained how to feed Rosco, how
much to feed him and what to feed him. He'd received his first
vaccination and had been wormed and microchipped. We came away with a bag full of information, food and Rosco's special blanket with the
smell of his mum on.
We rang Philippa, as arranged, two days later to let her know how well
Rosco was settling in. We had a long talk about his settling in period
and the assurance that if ever we needed advice, Philippa would only be
a phone call or email away.
We are all so so pleased with our beautiful puppy and true to her word,
Philippa has always just been a phone call or an email away. During
the first two weeks, Philippa has given us both good, sound advice and
contributed greatly to Rosco settling in to his new home.
I really cannot speak highly enough of Flyhart. Philippa is true to
her word, honest, helpful and caring for each and every puppy and dog
that she has. She has been an enormous help in those first two weeks
when you feel a little concerned, stressed and worried about your new
puppy.
Rosco really is a bundle of joy, with great temperament and
intelligence! He's not afraid of any noises or new sounds, just
curious sometimes to know where the noise is coming from. He has
completed our family and given our eight year old German Shepherd a new
lease of life!
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. Your enthusiasm
defines you Philippa :0) Thank you for all your help and words of
wisdom and advice over the past few weeks. Both myself and Peter wish
you all the very very best for your future litters.

Our experience of Flyhart, run by Philippa Tuck has been outstanding. Having reserved a puppy before they were born Phillipa would always keep us updated as to the progess of both mum and puppies evey step of the way.
We were invited to her home to see and play with our puppy as well as meet the mother, and made to feel very welcome. One year later our puppy has grown into a superb dog. We have had no temperament issues at all, he is the kindest gentlest loyal dog, who adores people and children and is a much loved member of our family. I believe this to have come from the careful breeding Philippa has undertaken to ensure all her puppies are suitable for family homes.
Philippa is always on hand to answer any questions and help in any way she can. I can't recommend her enough. In Flyhart we found a professional, caring breeder, whose puts the welfare of her dogs above all else. Our dog is intelligent, loving, happy, is well built and is the opitomy of what a German Shepherd should be, as well as a superb family dog.
